Heidegger saw revealing the nihilism of a metaphysical system as the only reason to reject - putting that emotional reaction over analysing it's truth. So, they are philosophers of nihilism, but not nihilists or advocates of nihilism, which is an essentially negative position, which arguably can't be advocated without violating the stance advocated, at least in the case of existential nihilism (Nagarjuna gets around this though). | |
