The statement also probably needs to actually tell you something about the world, which a conditional statement arguably doesn't do. The example given might also be problematic because you might be imagining the dog even if the world is real. Even if you assume the world is real, there is still very little you can say for sure if you're skeptical of your perception of it. | |
