Here’s a solid list of the practical applications of evolutionary theory: http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/CA/CA215.html Let’s pretend for a moment that intelligent design turned out to be true. What if any, would the practical applications be? Is practical and technological applicability a good indication of a theory’s truth/relevance/non-arbitrariness?

  • There are no practical applications of string theory; and some people have taken it as charting out a good theory of quantum gravity. – Mozibur Ullah Jul 5 '14 at 23:51

There's a whole lot of unresolved questions about the so-called evolution vs intelligent design controversy. One is that whether or not the two theories are reconcilable. While it is widely believed that Christian Theologists find evolution as contradicting Creationism, there are muslim Theologians who postulate that the theory might be compatible with Islamic view of creation. – infatuated Jul 6 '14 at 7:37
  • Evolution Theory contradicts the King James Bible ( but I'm sure a lot of Evolutionists don't care about that) , the thing is Creationism may be wrong ,the Bible does not imply a 'young Earth' as Adam may have been in the Garden of Eden for a long time before being expelled. – user128932 Sep 28 '14 at 5:18
  • Does 'Intelligent Design' theory mean there are various biological processes in Nature with such seemingly sophisticated organization that this 'design' could not just be the result of evolutionary 'mechanisms'? – user128932 Sep 28 '14 at 5:22
  • Here's one article about the practical application of intelligent design: evolutionnews.org/2018/10/… – yters Feb 22 '19 at 20:08
