There are seemingly common ideas in the philosophy of kierkegaard and hiedegger on the self. I thought came into my mind, was Hiedegger in some way influenced by kierkegaard's self-actualization as seen in man's striving for eternal happiness. Hiedegger said that if one wants to find authentic meaning in life, one should spend more time in the graveyards. There is a similarity in the most possible possibility which is death. Other than the fact that they are both exitentialists, which according to H. an existentialist must be in a constant self awareness, and which we can derive also from the despair of kierkegaard, was Heidegger in some way influenced by kierkegaard?
