One point that I didn’t make sufficiently clear in my post is that I am not simply referring to an empty universe (materially) but the lack of any universe. The crux of my question is if this kind of nothingness necessarily cannot exist, and that, at a minimum, abstract concepts and an austere “bare” existence necessarily exists (the void/empty world) as well as the potential for things to exist.
