I don't know that the reason I opted to have soup today is because of a fleeting moment where the cat farted yesterday and subconsciously made me smell something that reminded me of a moment in my childhood where I ate a really great soup.. I just know that I'd like soup today. I perceive my choice to have soup as free-will, but in fact, it's just because the cat farted at the right time to trigger a subconscious reaction.
