The idea being that wouldn't it be better if the gene pool had more of the stronger ones, rather than stupid, weak, overweight, sick etc. people. Some prehistoric cultures have known to distribute more resources to the stronger members of the group, the idea being that they're most useful for the group, since they're the strongest. One can also hypothesize whether "nature" or "human nature" would be harsher for the weaker, were there not politics to protect them and make them "equal". | |
