Original tag seemed totally inappropriate, changed tag to match question better and it fits subsequent answers.

Jun 26, 2021 at 17:52 | comment | added | Mike Scott | As Douglas Adams pointed out in the Hitch-Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, your box of answers is useless unless it contains the questions as well as the answers, which you’ve not specified.

Jun 26, 2021 at 3:41 | comment | added | Nat | Regarding "Since the box is always true implies that the few people who gave their ideas are always false.": I dunno if that would follow, unless the box said that humans were metaphysically-disabled from comprehension? In other words, when the box says that an asker isn't "authorized" to know an answer, does the box mean that it's not going to provide it, or do you mean that the box is stating that humans are fundamentally prohibited from understanding?

Jun 25, 2021 at 20:41 | comment | added | DoctorDestructo | Giving the box a few additional miraculous capabilities might make this question a bit harder to dismiss on technicalities. For example, maybe it answers questions by directly implanting knowledge in people's minds, thus avoiding the limitations of verbal communication (although, I guess that raises the question of how many actual truths a finite mind can hold). At the very least, you could give it the ability to magically eliminate any doubts about the correctness of its answers.
